Frtune in a pnny

As if scrawled notes and photocopied texts, were not hard enough to read. Final Exam season is frought with another kind of menace, and I seriously would not be surprised if this was not the case in most societies of the world - sms forwards for good luck. Like you already aren't superstitious, nervous and religious enough, the best of pals will forward you these messages that appear to have an evil smirk all of their own. To offer a splendid example of that of which I speak- "eggs n butter, bread n jam, best of luk fr ur exam. forward ths 2 ten ppl and get more than 80% in ur exams. Do not ignore this. It really works..." and so on and so forth. 80% in humanities in a university examination? Ha! Me and what army? Not that its a nuisance of course, its just a pestilence of sorts, pardon the rebuke. Oh, there are conspiracy theories surrounding such pieces of fortune - mobile companies tricks to earn money and yada yada yada. I! Me, yours truly! I have been victim to these and actually forwarded one of them... (blushes profusely) Ever again? Remains to be seen.

A Stranger Applauds

A most pleasantly queer thing has happened. I have recieved the kindest of comments applauding my writing on this blog, but the author of the comment has omitted to sign it. Not that you are obliged to sign your comments or anything. Why I am restless is because I had specifically asked many people to read this and react to it. Therefore, I suspect that it is somebody I know. And if such is the case, I would really like ot know who it was. And these sound like the ramblings of someone despearte to have her blog read. Sheesh. At any rate, if thou mayest return, anonymous commentor, do leave thy name, so I may know from where the appreciation comes. I shall be most obliged if everyone who knows will please leave their names as well. Thanks. (Grins)

Make hunger history

So, another occasion of sitting around, shifting on my chair, all because already I do not know what to address through this blog of mine. Disarmament? World Peace? Animal rights? I'm more in the mood for a cookie right now actually. The empty wrapper of chocolate cream layered, chocolate biscuits lies despondant in the dustbin before my very eyes. (sighs) Hark! Whats that? Mom calling me for dinner! There is a God! See you all later then.

Under further obligation

The invitations that I sent out have put me under tremendous obligation to improve and uphold my standards of writing on the world wide web. Not only shall I be now expected to be intelligent and informed, I shall also have to be adequately funny. I shall try my best to be amusing and full of wit. As far as intelligence is concerned, suffice to say that I share my birthday with none other than Isaac Newton. I know, I know. One cannot discover Gravity all over again. And the dirth of apple trees around my abode does not help in that respect either.

The Blog edges towards fame

This posting shall serve merely as a welcome note to all those I have sent invitations to view my random thoughts on blogspot. I welcome ye all, and I hope ye shall not be disappointed and return to see more of this.

Color Changes

I wonder why I am unable to change the color of my postings. They are all this dull light green that lend an unexciting feel to the whole blog. I hope I can replicate my first color change this time around. (Scratches head)

Love to the World

I think, today I shall ask the world to love. No, implore them to do so. For is it not the first duty of a human being to be full of gratitude towards her creator, the Lord. When you smile at all those you appreciate, and express love for all of humanity, you thank God, the creator, the sustainor, the protector.
